Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer you could be working on data enrichment, developing data pipelines, creating consumer insights and recommendations, processing batch processing, and much more! Some of the applications used for building these solutions are Python, Scala, and Java, using technologies like Azure, TensorFlow, and Spark. It can be the case that you will work on several projects simultaneously (this could be both on- and offsite). This depends on the size of the project. The projects you are assigned to will be carefully picked based on your skillset while also investing in your learning curve. You will be working in a team of likeminded talented people.

You offer:

• BSc/MSc degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science;
• At least five years of relevant work experience (as a Data Engineer);
• You must live in the Netherlands;
• You know how to work on several projects simultaneously in an effective manner;
• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum way;
• Experience with Scala, Java, C# or Python;
• Experience with AWS – CI/CD or Azure;
• Experience with technologies like Docker, Kafka, Elastic, Spark, Kubernetes, and Hadoop;
• Speaking Dutch fluently is considered a plus.
