Organization

This digital tech & data hub is part of a bigger organization. The mother-company is an e-commerce platform for big organizations. They are operating in 17 countries in Europe and are still growing. That is the reason why they started a new company under the same name. They are more focussed on smaller organizations, but are also known because this is where you can find the Data team!

They have the pro’s of a start-up: a lot of flexibility, autonomy, freedom and growth paths, but also the pro’s of a scale-up because they are more professional in their work.

It is a Dutch company but with a really international team working globally. They are really ambitious, young and fun to work with!

Team

The Data & Analytics team contains of 7 people at the moment, it is a mix of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, a Data Translator and the Manager D&A. Since they are growing in a fast pace they are opening up 3 positions: the Lead Data Scientist role, a Senior Data Analyst role and a Data Engineer position.

Role

As Senior Data Analyst you will be working together with the D&A team, especially with the data engineers and other data analysts. You will be technically mentoring and coaching the junior Analysts.

You will translate potential use cases into clear stories to ensure adoption and value. These uses cases can develop from insights of the team members, business stakeholders or yourself. You will analyse and present the results. As Senior Data Analyst you will further develop the Data Analytics team and data-community at the organization.

They are offering:

• Salary indication is between €65.000 and €70.000 per year based on 40 hours;
• Visa sponsorship;
• First contract is 12 months;
• 40/36/32 hours per week;
• Pension plan via Nationale Nederlanden: 2/3 employer contribution;
• 30 holidays, option to buy 7 more days per year;
• Option to work from home, at least 2 days per weeks working from the office;

They are looking for:

• 4 years work experience as Data Analyst;
• Experience with relational databases, using SQL, Python/R, PowerBI;
• Experience with project- and stakeholder management;
• A hands-on and creative Analyst;
• A Team player, experience with mentoring and inspiring others;
• Strong communication skills in English
