They use a global network of tax experts to serve Fortune 500 companies, governments, universities, international consultancy firms and tax advisors. The core business is research, publishing (online and print) and education in international taxation and all their products are accessible through their Research Platform.

Objective and responsibility of the position:

As a data scientist, you’ll help to improve the customer experience by improving search results, help to suggest related documents on the TRP and otherwise help to increase understanding of the data. Your responsibilities will include setting up new data science initiatives, managing stakeholders and gathering knowledge from tax experts. You will use this knowledge to train machine learning models and operationalize them (for example, creating a REST microservice, visualize results, etc.). Projects range from keyword extraction to embedding of a graph of case references to document similarity computation.As a data scientist, you will report to the manager of IT.

In your role you will think of ways that data science techniques can be used to improve customer experience. Moreover you maintain and improve models in production and put models in production. You will perform data science experiments, mainly in the domain of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• You have gained at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Good communication in English
• Knowledge of Data Science techniques (Python, NLP) from Linear Regression to Deep Learning;
