Organization

Their office is located in the Amsterdam region, it has existed for more than ten years now.  It is actually part of a larger international organization. As a result you have 30.000 colleagues spread worldwide (New York, Australia but also in the rest of Europe).

The research organization focuses on media and marketing for various international clients. For example Renault, LÓréal, Independer, but also Unicef and McDonalds. They are providing them with data-driven marketing results and present solutions.

This year is about growth for the organization, therefore they are looking for a Data Scientist to join!

Team

You will be working on the Technology department, consisting of 8 people. Almost 1/3rd of the team is working in a tech-position and is using data on a daily basis. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team with other  Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Media Analysts. They will be expanding this team more in the upcoming year.

Role

As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring and building data-driven marketing solutions to make sure more clients will onboard! This organization is a Google Marketing Platform salespartner, this means you will work within this platform a lot. You will provide Cloud solutions or marketing solutions (Ads Data Hub) or integration with the mother-organization. The team is responsible for the data infrastructure running on EC2 with Airflow and Postgres, using AWS and GCP. You could work for several clients in the same time.

You will be responsible for using and further building the state of the art implementations and for creating impact for the data sources.  All the data processes will run more automatically so dashboards for specific clients can be made quickly.

• Salary range between €4.500 and €5.000 per month, based on 37.5 hours;
• First contract is 7 months;

• 3 years of work experience as a Data Scientist;
• Passion for data and complex analyses;
• Experience in Python or R;
• Experience with database systems (PostgreSQOL, Spark, Hive);
• Perfect communication in English;
• A real team player
