You will work for a challenger within the Dutch Energy market. As a customer of this organisation you choose from whom you buy energy and where your money goes. This organisation develops smart energy applications : green energy and smart charging. This organisation is an innovative tech scale-up and strives to make the energy market more sustainable. The goal of this organisation is to provide 100% sustainable energy as soon as possible.

Team:

You will work in the Data Analytics team which consists of highly skilled Data Specialists who provide data products and insights that are necessary to develop innovations and smart solutions. The data landscape expand and so this team is looking for someone to support them in bringin information together from different systems. Furthermore you will maintain the databases, and help the data team making predictive models.

Role:

As a Data Engineer you will play a crucial role in preparing data for both the analytics and operational team. Moreover you will optimize business processes. You will help the organisation increasing data quality to make smarter decisions! As a Data Engineer you will:

• Work together with the Analytics team;
• Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines to pull data together from different sources;
• Make sure data is organized and structured for use in specific applications;
• Research available ETL tools.

What they are looking for:

• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Data Engineer;
• Background in computer science and analytics;
• Strong understanding of databases: SQL or Postgres;
• Understand DWH concepts;
• Skilled in SQL and preferably Python;
• Proactive in finding solutions;
• Team player.
